Handmade in Buckinghamshire, the Orthos Origins 8 mattress combines a Reactive spring system with multiple layers of natural fillings to ensure the perfect night’s sleep.

Pocket Springs

The Orthos Origins mattress features a Reactive spring system, each spring has eight active turns, the higher the turn count the more supportive the mattress, each spring works independently to sense your body shape and weight as you sleep in order to ensure full support and promote natural spinal alignment.

Due to its firmer feel this is ideal for back or side sleepers.

Natural Fillings

Nestled above the pocket spring unit are two fleeces of British wool which have been sourced from Red Tractor assured farms.

As a natural temperature regulator, wool ensures your body remains at the optimum temperature ensuring a comfortable night’s sleep.

Wool naturally wicks away moisture along with allowing for ultimate mattress breathability to keep that fresh feel.

Paired with the wool layers is a comfort layer of cotton, flax and hemp to add a supportive layer above the spring system.

Finishing Touches

The Orthos mattress will be hand tufted during the final stages of the manufacturing process to ensure any loose fillings are secured in place.

Two rows of genuine hand side stitching will also be carried out, this process secures the mattress border to the outer layer of the spring unit to prevent roll out and due to the complexity is only carried out by the most seasoned professionals.

Adding the finishing touch, the mattress cover is a luxurious cotton and linen blend to ensure a sumptuously soft sleeping surface for a comfortable night’s sleep.

In order to prolong the life of your mattress we highly recommend rotating and turning it on a regular basis to allow for an even settlement of fillings.
